It's December 23, 1939, in Bletchley, England. Arthur and Kris are spacing out in the Cottage. They then start having a conversation. Kris: People, should we ask for a new Enigma machine? Arthur: I don't know. It's pointless unless they obtain the new rotors. Kris: Just tell them to look for a IV or V on the right side of the rotor! Arthur: Fair enough. Then it is revealed that Allison's been sitting under a window listening to their conversation.

Allison is in her wartime home, sitting in the desk in her room, looking at a map of Europe. She thinks: Where can I find an Enigma machine? In Germany and all the countries it invaded. I can speak German, so I should go to Germany or Austria. But how?
