Turing's Antalyakart

Turing's Antalyakart is an alternate history-ish political comedy comic with some sci-fi and slice-of-life elements. Except, about the comedy part, I sometimes want it to be a drama and a horror comic. I'm very indecisive about the genre. It's a part of the Antalyaverse, which is in the multiverse I named the Turing Mythos. In the comic it's 2024, the AI bubble is a thing, there are genocides going on, fascism is rising in the West, and Alan Turing is somehow alive, doing things in his temporary home in Antalya, Turkey. Why is he in Turkey? Well, life in Britain has been shit for the past few years, and Turkey is a little bit more bearable especially when you have foreign currency, so perhaps staying in Turkey until the shitshow ends would be a good thing. Except bigotry and AI slop hasn't left Turing alone in Antalya either.

TurAnt will be released on February 20, 2025. I yet have to decide which platforms I'll launch it on first.

Turing's Antalyakart: The Bubble

Turing's Antalyakart: The Bubble is a 3-page comic that I made as my entry for the Words and Pictures Comic Jam. It's supposed to be some kind of 'spin-off' of TurAnt. You can read it here.

Turing's Antalyakart: Sunken World

Turing's Antalyakart: Sunken World (or in the Turkish original, Turing'in Antalyakart'ı: Batık Dünya) is the short caricature series spin-off of TurAnt I started for LubunFanzin, a Turkish queer fanzine. It's drawn in A5 size (the size of the zine) in print format. As it's a cartoon series for a zine, each episode is very short compared to episodes of the main series, and it doesn't necessarily revolve around a certain plot, it can sometimes just talk about a certain event or concept. Basically a mini version of TurAnt. It often follows the canon of the main series, and the main series can have some of the events of Sunken World as canon. Sometimes, the main series can directly pick up an event from Batık Dünya and expand on it. You can think of the relationship between the TurAnt main series and Sunken World as something like the one between the Otisabi Manga Series and Otisabi in the Komikşeyler magazine, both created by Yılmaz Aslantürk. At least, I think so.

TurAnt ARG

There's also a little ARG project for Turing's Antalyakart, with pages meant to go along with each episode of the comic! Sorry if it's bad, I'm new to making ARGs.
